Louis Stubblefield METROPOLIS, ILL. - Louis Stubblefield, 94, of the Good Samaritan Nursing Home, died at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the nursing home. Mr. Stubblefield was a member of Hillerman Baptist Church. ' Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home. The Rev. Bill Christoff will officiate. Burial will be in Hillerman Baptist Church Cemetery in Massac County . Mr. Stubblefield is survived by a daughter, Verla Johnson of Metropolis; three sons, Robert Stubblefield, James N. Stubblefield and Howard Stubblefield, all of Grand Chain; 11 grandchildren, 27 greatgrandchildren, seven great-greatgrandchildren, two nephews. His wife, Mary Stubblefield, two sisters, three brothers and two infant grandsons preceded him in death. His parents were Charles and Lucy Johnson Stubblefield.
